Vie Maestre

Welcome to the journey of Vie Maestre, a project that weaves together slow tourism, local identity, and the promotion of artisanal excellence. Promoted by Confartigianato Imprese Marca Trevigiana, with the financial support of the Chamber of Commerce Treviso-Belluno|Dolomiti and the participation of Confartigianato Imprese Veneto, Vie Maestre was created to guide tourists, enthusiasts, and mindful travelers through territories rich in history, culture, and craftsmanship—where landscape and enterprise constantly dialogue.

The project unfolds along two extraordinary walking and cycling routes: the Treviso-Ostiglia, built on a former railway line, and the Sentiero degli Ezzelini, which follows the courses of the Muson and Lastego rivers to the foothills of Mount Grappa. Two green corridors that create an ideal link between nature, art, and craftsmanship. The initiative involves several municipalities across the Marca Trevigiana—including Treviso, Castelfranco Veneto, and Asolo—and promotes experiences that highlight quality hospitality, authentic relationships, and the value of artisanal work. Workshops, studios, and small ateliers become essential stops in a narrative where every object tells a story, every gesture carries tradition, and every place reveals a unique identity.

The very name Vie Maestre recalls the old roads that once connected towns to their rural surroundings and artisan quarters—both physical and symbolic paths that today become experiential itineraries to discover a more intimate, creative, and surprising Veneto. As you listen, you can use the interactive map to view, in real time, both cultural and natural points of interest and the artisan businesses participating in the project.
